The man who lived..

In its embryonic state, when the Bodhi Tree and its members (me, for example) have some self doubt, some fear,a few "What if" and a few "If not" questions to fight, I just decided to recite this song by the famous Tamiz poet, Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi.

The song goes thus-

Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)

IjagatthuLLor ellaam edutthu ninra podhilum (Even if the entire world is against me)
Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)

Thucchamaaga eNNi nammai thooru seida podhilum (Even if the world thinks low of me)
Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)

Picchaivaangi uNNum vaazkai petruvitta podhilum(Even if I come to a state where I have to beg and eat)
Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)

Icchaikonda poruLellaam izandhu viTTa podhilum (even if I lose all things that are dear to me)
Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)

Nacchai vaayile koNarndhu nanbar ooTu podhinum(Even if my dear friends make me eat poison)
Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)

Pachaiyooniyaindha ver paDaiGaL vandha podhinum (Even if a large army attacks)
Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)

Ucchimeedhu vaaniDindhu veezhuginra podhinum(Even if the entire sky breaks,
and falls on my head)
Achamillai achamillai acham enbadillaye (I have no fear)
