Just when I resolved to the fact that I am now too old to start blogging, just when I felt so safe telling people, "Naah, I dont write prose. So I dont blog.", Just when I prided myself with a close network of friends who know all that is happening in my life, I find myself in Hyderabad, in a very well furnished house inside the ISB campus and I suddenly have the need to tell the world so much.
I have to tell the world about a wonder - a tree that grew into full form in a matter of ten days. Did I plant it? Not really. Did I ask for it? Well, may be. But do I have it? Yes, in all its might.
It's called the Bodhi tree. Yes, The Bodhi Tree.
It doesnt have branches, a trunk, leaves and fruits and I'm not into gardening after moving to Hyderabad, if that's what you think.
This tree has a table, a chair, a computer, many books, a white board with a TODO list, markers, pens, a photo with my friends from college, a calender with me and my husband, a painting with two horses chasing a dream and... it has me.
It wouldn't have been too difficult to call this set-up my "workspace". But this is not just a workspace. It is going to be a Bodhi Tree; The Bodhi Tree - to me; in due course, to many...
neat...all the best champ :)
